New developments around x2 x3 conjecture and other classical problems in Ergodic Theory

Cieplice, May 23-May 27, 2016

The x2 x3 conjecture of Furstenberg has been one of the most intriguing questions posed over the past thirty years in the field of dynamical systems. Although there has been little progress on this question recently, many people have worked on the problem, and, needless to say, many more have shown a lot of interest in it. This is why we think it is a good idea to try bringing the top experts together. We hope to have some lectures related to the x2 x3 conjecture, but other topics will also be welcome.
